I've heard they don't actually drive as well as they look, which is a shame because they're the absolute pinnacle of that school of design. The styling is absolutely *nailed*.

Eh it's a GT, and I want it for grand touring, not track time. Would probably be perfect for a cross-country rally! And yes, that design is so perfect, and the rear 3/4! MMmmmmpff.

The problem I've heard cited is the extent to which the driving experience is muffled. It seems, though, like that would be possible to engineer back out of the car if you owned it...

Indeed. I have a feeling that the CSi is much more lively, what with urethane control arm bushings and an overall stiffer suspension. I'll let you know when I buy one! But the whole idea is to cover long distances at triple digit speeds, which I can imagine would get tiresome with an overly tactile chassis. If they struck a balance between the E24 and the E38, I would be very impressed.
